I’m disappointed to leave less than a 5-star review because the house itself was beautiful and the location was great. However, we experienced several issues during our 3-night stay. The fridge was not cooled upon arrival and stayed at 54 degrees despite being set to the coldest setting, which was stressful after buying groceries for the weekend. The host provided only one small bag of ice as a solution. We also paid an extra $250 to heat the pool and hot tub, but the hot tub never worked. The control tablet was dead with no charger provided, and even after charging it ourselves, the hot tub never heated. Lastly, despite staying within the listed guest limit, we received repeated calls and messages accusing us of overusing the property’s shared water supply, even after checking for leaks and limiting use. Overall, we enjoyed aspects of the stay, but the issues made it hard to consider this a 5-star experience.
Our group had an amazing time, the space is gorgeous, even better than the pictures show! The location is a bit far from restaurants and nightlife but absolutely perfect for a peaceful getaway with lots of outdoor activities in the surrounding area. We will definitely book this place again when we come back!
